This consolidated text of the Federal Criminal Code incorporates all the amendments up to the 'Decree amending and adding Various Provisions of the Federal Criminal Code, Federal Code of Criminal Procedure, Law for the Protection of the Rights of Girls, Boys and Adolescents, General Law of Education, Law on Religious Associations and Public Worship, Federal Law on Consumer Protection and Regulatory Law of Article 5° of the Constitution, relating to the Practice of Professions in the Federal District', which was published in the Official Journal of the Federation on August 19, 2010, and entered into force on August 20, 2010.
For the amendments introduced by the said Decree, see the following provisions of the consolidated text:
- Book One, Preliminary Title, the third paragraph of Article 6 (added); Title Two, Chapter VI, Article 30, section II (amended), Article 32, section VI (added); Title Three, Chapter I, the first paragraph and section IV of Article 52 (amended); Title Four, Chapter III, Article 85, paragraph c) of section I (amended);
- Book Two, Title Eight, Chapter VII, Article 209, its first paragraph (amended) & third paragraph (added), Chapter VII (added); and Title Fifteen, Chapter VI, Article 107 Bis (added).
Book Two of this consolidated text of the Federal Criminal Code provides for criminal sanctions against copyright infringement (Title Twenty-Six, Articles 424-429), and the disclosure of secrets of an industrial nature (Title Nine, Article 211).
