Year of Version 2007 Dates Entry into force: February 1, 1994 Adopted: January 18, 1994 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Patents (Inventions), Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), IP Regulatory Body Notes This consolidated verison of the Patent Law takes into account amendments up to 'Law No. X-1119 of May 10, 2007, on Amendments and Supplements to Article 38^1, Article 59^2 and the Annex of the Patent Law', which entered into force on May 19, 2007, except for Article 1 which entered into force on October 1, 2007.

The amending Law No. X-1119 of May 10, 2007 introduced the following amendments to this consolidated version:
- Article 1 of the said Law added Article 38^1 (Compulsory Licence for Pharmaceutical Products) under Chapter 6 (Compulsory Licence), which entered into force on October 1, 2007, and was repealed.
- Article 2 of the said Law introduced amendments to Article 5 (Validity of a European Patent Application) under Chapter 10^1 (Implementation of the European Patent Convention) and Article 3 added an Annex (EU Legislation Implemented by the Patent Law) to this consolidated version, which entered into force on May 19, 2007, and were repealed.
