Year of Version 1990 Dates Entry into force: July 1, 1990 Adopted: May 31, 1990 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Undisclosed Information (Trade Secrets), Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes The notification by Sweden to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'This Act repeals the Act (1931:152) Containing Certain Provisions Against Unfair Competition. The provisions on compensation for damages under that Act continue, however, to apply as regards acts undertaken before the entry into force.
The basic provisions on enforcement of intellectual property law are included in Article 3 and following of the Trade Secrets Act.
The civil and judicial procedures and remedies of intellectual property law are included in Articles 5 to 14 of the Trade Secrets Act.'
'The provisions on provisional judicial measures of intellectual property law are included in Article 13 of the Trade Secrets Act.'
'The provisions on criminal procedures available for infringement of intellectual property law are included in Articles 3 and 4 of the Trade Secrets Act.'
