Year of Version 2020 Dates Amended up to: January 1, 2020 Entry into force: November 29, 1972 Published: May 29, 1972 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, Traditional Cultural Expressions, IP Regulatory Body Notes This consolidated version of October 1, 2020 of the Copyright Act No. 73/1972 of May 29, 1972 takes into account amendments up to Act No. 88/2019 of June 27, 2019, which entered into force on January 1, 2020; except for Article 32, which shall enter into force one year after the date of entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No. 186/2017. Article 40 under Chapter IX entitled Various Provisions of the said amending Act No. 88/2019 added after Chapter II a new Chapter IIA to this consolidated version (relating to relationships between joint management institutions and contracting users).
