This consolidated text of the Federal Law on Copyright, published in the Official Journal of the Federation on January 24, 2020, takes into account amendments up to 'Decree on Amendments to Various Provisions of the Federal Law on Copyright', which entered into force on January 25, 2020.
The said amending Decree (published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on January 24, 2020) provides amendments to the following provisions under Chapter III, Title VII of this consolidated text of the Federal Law on Copyright:
- Adding to the title of Chapter III the words 'Traditional Cultural Expressions' after the words 'Of Popular Cultures';
- Amending Articles 157, 158, 159 and 160.
