This consolidated version of the Civil Code of Ukraine No. 435-IV of January 16, 2003 takes into account amendments up to Law No. 198-IX of October 17, 2019, on Amendments to Law on Prevention of Corruption, which entered into force on January 1, 2020.
The said amending Law No. 198-IX introduced amendments to the following provisions of this consolidated version:
- Article 94, part 4 (added);
- Article 277, part 6, item 4 (added);
- Article 280, part 1 (added).
Book Fourth of this consolidated version of the Civil Code contains Chapter 35 to 46, which provide for the legal protection of intellectual property rights.
Article 52 under Chapter 45 was amended on January 1, 2020 by Law of Ukraine No. 123-IX of September 20, 2019, on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Improvement of the Legal Protection of Geographical Indications.
