Notes
The notification by Ukraine to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'The Law:
• establishes new definitions of the terms 'topographies of semiconductor products', 'semiconductor product';
• specifies the conditions for granting legal protection of the topographies of the semiconductor product;
• determines the requirements for the application for registration;
• improves the procedure of examination of applications;
• determines the scope of the rights and obligations arising from the registration of the topographies of the semiconductor product.'
This Law entered into force on September 26, 2019, one day after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette on September 25, 2019, in accordance with paragraph 1. under its Part II entitled 'II. Final and Transitional Provisions'.
