Year of Version 2019 Dates Amended up to: April 1, 2019 Entry into force: March 1, 1999 Adopted: October 14, 1998 Type of Text IP-related Laws Subject Matter Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes This consolidated text of the Civil Procedure Law takes into account amendments up to the "Law of February 28, 2019, on Amendments to the Civil Procedure Law", which was published in the Official Gazette on March 14, 2019, and entered into force on April 1, 2019. The said amending Law of February 28, 2019 introduced amendments to the following provisions of this consolidated version: - Section 11 (Open Examination of Civil Cases) under Chapter 1, Division One, Part A; - Section 24 (Jurisdiction) under Chapter 3. Part A; - Section 34 (State Duty); Section 43 (Exceptions to General Provisions Regarding Court Expenses) under Chapter 4, Division One, Part A; - Section 82.^1 (Exceptions from General Provisions Regarding Rights to Representation) under Chapter 12, Division Two, Part A; - Section 176 (Attachment of Written Evidence to the Case File) under Chapter 21, Division Four, Part B; - Section 190 (Lawfulness and Basis of a Judgment) under Chapter 22, Division Four, Part B; - Section 250.^25 (Examination of Cases in the Written Procedure, Drawing up of a Judgment, Sending of its True Copy, and Request for Drawing up a Judgment) under Chapter 30.^3, Division Five, Part B; - Chapter 30.^8 (Cases Regarding the Protection of a Trade Secret Against Illegal Acquisition, Use, and Disclosure Section) under Division Five, Part B; - Section 563 (Termination of Enforcement Proceedings) under Chapter 69, Division Thirteen, Part E; - Transitional Provisions; paragraph 152; - Informative Reference to the European Union Directives. This consolidated version of the Civil Procedure Law contains the following provisions on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights: - Part A, Division One, Chapter 4, section 34, subsection (1) (5); - Part A, Division Three, Chapter 16, section 100, subsection (3); and - Part B, Division Five, Chapter 30.^2 (sections 250^8 to 250^17).
