Year of Version 2018 Dates Amended up to: September 6, 2018 Issued: April 23, 1996 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), Traditional Cultural Expressions Notes This consolidated version of the Copyright Law takes into account amendments up to "Legislative Decree No. 1391on the Simplification of the Procedures referred to in the Laws Dealing with INDECOPI and Specifying the Powers, Regulations and Functions of INDECOPI", which was published in the Official Gazette on September 5, 2018, and entered into force on September 6, 2018. Article 3 of the said amending Decree No. 1391 introduced amendments to the following provisions of this consolidated version of the Copyright Law: - Second paragraph of Article 14 under Title II; - Article 25 under Chapter II, Title III; - Subparagraph a) of Article 43 under Chapter I, Title IV; - Article 147; second paragraph of Article 148; subparagraphs f) and g) of Article 151; Articles 153 and 163 under Title IX; - Article 174 under Chapter III; Article 190, 194 under Chapter VI, Title X ; - First Final Provision; - Addition of new Article 174-A under Chapter III, Title X; Article 204-A and 207 under Title XIII.
