Law No. 2007-1544 was amended on May 16, 2009 by the 'Ordinance No. 2009-537 of May 14, 2009, on the Extension and Adaptation of Various Legislative Provisions to Mayotte, the Wallis and Futuna Islands, French Polynesia, the French Southern and Antarctic territories and New Caledonia', which was published in the Official Gazette on May 15, 2009, and entered into force on May 16, 2009.
Paragraph VI of Article 1 under Chapter I of the said Ordinance No. 2009-537 introduces the following amendments to Article 48 of Chapter VIII of Law No. 2007-1544:
1° In paragraph I of Article 48, the references '6, 7 and 8' are replaced by the words '6, of II of Article 7 and Article 8';
2° A new paragraph III was added to Article 48, which reads: 'III. - I of Article 7 is applicable in French Polynesia'.
