The consolidated Part Two of the Civil Code takes into account amendments up to Federal Law No. 39-FZ of March 28, 2017, which entered into force on April 8, 2017 (see Section IV, Chapter 32, Article 582(1) of this consolidated Part Two for detailed amendments).
The consolidated Part Three of the Civil Code takes into account amendments up to Federal Law No. 39-FZ of March 28, 2017, which entered into force on April 8, 2017 (see Section V, Chapter 62 Article 1127(1), paragraph 1 of this consolidated Part Three for detailed amendments).
The consolidated Part Four of the Civil Code takes into account amendments up to the 'Federal Law No. 147-FZ of July 1, 2017, on Amendments to Articles 1252 and 1486 of Part Four of the Civil Code and Articles 4 and 99 of the Arbitration Procedural Code of the Russian Federation', which entered into force on July 12, 2017.

Part Four of this consolidated Code, which consists of 9 chapters (69-77) and 326 articles (1225-1551), contains specific provisions on intellectual property.
It codifies rules and principles governing intellectual property and provides legal regime for the protection of intellectual property rights.

Part One, Two and Three contain, inter alia, the following general provisions on intellectual property:
