The Amendment Law 20.332 was promulgated on January 1, 2009, was published in the Official Gazette and came into force on February 17, 2009.
For the amendments introduced by the sole article of the Amendment Law, see the following provisions of the consolidated version:
- Title I, Articles 10 and 12;
- Title II, Article 15;
- Title VI, Articles 35 and 40;
- Title VII, Articles 45, 46 and 47;
- Provisional Article IX.

Title V of this consolidated Law provides the legal framework for specific geographical indications for certain wines and spirits.
