Notes Article 58 of this Regulation states that Regulation No. 509/2006 is repealed with the exception of Article 13 which shall continue to apply in respect of applications concerning products falling outside the scope of Title III of this present Regulation, received by the Commission prior to the date of entry into force of this Regulation.

Article 59 of the Regulation states that it shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union except for Articles 12(3) and 23(3) which shall apply from January 4, 2016, without prejudice to products already place on the market before that date.
