Year of Version 2004 Dates Entry into force: June 23, 2004 Adopted: June 21, 2004 Type of Text IP-related Laws   Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights) Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes Article 8 of Chapter II of Title I of Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004 amends the following provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, relating to the procedure for making claims of copyright infringements on internet.:
- Paragraph I of Article 8 added 2 paragraphs after the fifth paragraph of Article L332-1 of the Intellectual Property Code;
- Paragraph II of Article 8 added the words 'or on the online services of communication to the public', after the words 'as well as its publication in its entirety or in part in the newspapers' in the second paragraph of Article L335-6 of the same Code.
