This consolidated version of the Designs Act takes into account amendments up to Act No. 16 of May 9, 2014, which came into force on May 9, 2014.
For the amendments made by the said Act No. 16, see the following provisions of the consolidated version:
-Chapter 7, Sections 40 and 41;
-Chapter 9, Section 49; and
-Chapter 10, Section 58.
The notification by Norway to the WTO under article 63.2 of TRIPS states:
'This is the main Act on design protection, including provisions on application, protection, etc.'
